Getting into my KITT car with Stuntman: Hollywood
Like many a kid of the Eighties, especially those of us in the Motor City, we grew up with the goofiness of Knight Rider as a part of our lives. It wasn’t the best show, but it had a very cool idea: a talking car! With a mind of its own! And David Hasselhoff!
It was the precursor to AI and autonomous vehicles that we’re convinced will eventually show up soon, but it was cool nonetheless.
Saber Interactive’s Stuntman: Hollywood is one of the games we loved going hands on with at Summer Game Fest, letting us recreate vehicle-based scenes from some of our favorite movies. Back to the Future and Miami Vice have been announced already, and now Knight Rider makes us even more excited because we’ll be able to take that famed car onto some wild locations.
The clip shows explosions, lasers, driving through tight squeezes, flying cars — and that sweet, sweet Knight Rider tune to tie it all together.
Yes, bring it.
Stuntman: Hollywood is “coming soon” to PC, Xbox and PlayStation.
