DOFUS, the French classic animation based on the game, is back!

It’s been 20 years, and in that time Dofus has continued to be a popular MMO. It may not be as prevalent thanks to World of Warcraft and live service games taking over, but it still has a following and even spawned the popular sequel Wakfu. Both games, developed by French studio Ankama, are played by millions to this day and have expanded their shared universe of Krosmoz.

That has evolved into a whole transmedia enterprise, including the 2015 animated film Dofus Book 1: Julith. While the film never really saw much success it did receive praise for its great hand-drawn animation and characters. Once locked to France it’s now been translated and dubbed into English, being released this week onto YouTube. Serving as a sort of reintroduction to the shared universe for the rest of the world, the film introduces themes, enemies and more.

And, clocking in at around 1 hour and 45 minutes, it’s a great Saturday Morning flick! Watch it below now!
