TANUKI rides in to our platform of choice (and hearts) next month
We’ve had the chance to see TANUKI: Pon’s Summer a few times now, at various trade shows and expos, and each time it’s made us smile at its charm and cozy chaos. Who WOULDN’T want to be a portly tanuki mailperson on a bike riding around and doing tricks? I think this is very likely everyone’s ultimate dream.
During today’s Nintendo Indie World Direct the game finally received a release date, and it’s VERY soon: November 10th!
The game will task us to travel around a quaint village, doing tricks on our sweet BMX bike as we take care of the little tasks that the townsfolk need of us. Deliveries are only a part of it! We’ll be helping people with customers, build relationships, play baseball and even hop into a sumo ring.
With every hands-on we’ve been pretty charmed with the game, and with all of the additions it may wrap us around its paws even tighter.
TANUKI: Pon’s Summer launches on Switch, PlayStation, Xbox and PC on November 10th.
